Saw a picture on Facebook today on the Falcon page showing a side shot of the F185 with the words.... Coming Soon.

Kinda was hoping for a wide decked F19 Predator style boat with a 225.

Kind of like the Ranger z519/z519c vs the 195. If these 185s sell well maybe we'll get that next haha. Always a good sign to see more offerings from a company.

Yeah. If the 195 carried the deck width forward more and offered 225 HP I'd be all over it like a fat kid on a twinkie.

Brian Latimer tested one on his Instagram today. It had a 150 merc and he got it up to 62. Max HP is 175 on it. Should do high 60s.

Is it just me, or is that freaking fantastic for an 18 footer?

It’s pretty solid. I had an 03 blazer 180 pro-v with a 150 Yamaha that would hit 63 with a full load and just me.

I’d say low 60s is pretty solid. Guessing the boat was empty, maybe not. Anyone see specs on this boat yet? Is it 18’6”?

No specs yet on the website for it. Very interested as I was going to get an F195 for my next boat, but since I do not do tournaments and just the wife and I fun fish, with an occasional kid coming along, this might be on the top of the list for the next boat if the specs are right.

The length is a pleasant surprise. A solid option compared to competitors. I love that Falcon keeps the same layout across their standard lines. I love the storage space.

Similar length to the Z518, Triton 18/189 TRX and Nitro Z18. The max hp of 175 is nice too

I like, might have to drive over and see one up close, maybe get a test ride in one.

I'm going to guess around $40k with the 175 and mid-upper $30's with the 150. Anything higher will be stepping on F195 toes.
