If the update is for the gls box it affects all units. Your 93 isn't being left behind. Or maybe I'm wrong?

Changes made from version 2.41 to 2.53:

• Adds 'Ghost Reject' setting.

The Ultra units say:
Changes made from version 13.20 to 14.10:

• Added compatibility with GT36 and GT56 Transducers.
• Added new Vivid Color Schemes for ClearVu and SideVu Sonar.
• Added sync AutoGuidance paths with ActiveCaptain.
• Added GLS 10 Ghost Tree Rejection.

I am not sure what it means that they both list improvements for the GLS10 ghost tree.

Seems silly to update the GLS10 but not all head units that currently support connectivity to it but 13.30 is the latest update listed for the 93sv+.

I guess my question is why do we need this new setting as we didn’t need it before the perspective update ?And some say their livescope with 2.41 is perfect.Iam going to load it on my 2.41 box see what happens as it’s a mess anyway.

I'm anxious to try this new software out but from the pictures I'm less than impressed.
It still looks like from the example pictures posted that you either still have the ghost tree or a void (dead) area in its place.
I really hope that it is better than the examples shown.

For those that are afraid of it being worse than they already have, I say dont download it. My system on the lake I primarily fish seems to work really well. Ghost tree and dead spaces are pretty non existent. The lake has primarily a soft bottom which seems to be less effected based on what I read. But Im going to throw caution to the wind and update my units anyway because I like using the Active Captain feature haha.

I have a 1022 with the last update and can't seem to get active captain to work. Wifi doesn't seem to be good for some reason. But do you need a blank sd card for it to work? I was just wanting to video some footage to my cell phone.

This happens every time I go out. I power off my phone (iPhone 8) then power it back up and the helm function has always worked after that, as well as making sure I had all the right settings on.

Successful update. Will try it out Saturday. If any of you find a preferred setting on the new ghost tree deal, let me know.
