    Favorite net?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but the word "net" is too short to search for on here.

Long story short, my net broke today and I need a new one. My old one wasn't anything fancy. I don't want anything extra long or extra big - just enough to scoop a bass up beside the boat.

So... anyone have anything they highly recommend?

    Site:www.bbcboards.net net

    Or

    Site:www.bbcboards.net best net

Much better search engine then this site uses.

For what it’s worth, I love my ranger net with the pure rubber net. No treble hook has ever stuck in it.

    Clear rubber...

We have a Frabill Power Stow Folding Net, they sell smaller models but we have a larger one for times that we catch a Musky or go Salmon fishing. We like it because it can be folded up and stored in a compartment, smooth operation and very sturdy. We keep it under our deck extension when fishing and it opens fast when needed. I believe Frabill also sells replacement netting should you ever need it. Have had it for about 3-4 years now, bought at Cabelas.

I like the red extendable EGO net with the black rubber. It’s smallish for storage but extends when you need it. And it floats.

Ego s2 slider 31-60" medium hoop, large rubber bag. They float, they are warm to handle In The cold temperatures, they have padding that makes them more quiet and somewhat easier on rods or gelcoat.

Had an ego slider (which is a very good quality net) however the stowmaster that I linked is much less cumbersome to store and use.

I had a Cheap net from walmart. Rivoted a 6 ft handle to it. In tournaments, if it got near the boat, we got it!! We plucked smallmouths out of the air with it!! Still got the handle. Also had a Cabelas musky net. Long handle. Worked great too. If you fish tournaments, you gotta have a good net!!
