Pre mixing fuel with Amsoil HP

I ran this oil in my hpdi for 10 years before I sold it. I bought a newer boat this spring with a 250 proxs. It currently has about 250 hours. I have started pre mixing the fuel 150:1 with Merc Premium Plus and using Quicksilver DFI oil in the oil tank. Fished a tournament yesterday and probably ran a good 75 miles or so mostly at high rpms. The engine performed great but when I was loading up to drive home I noticed quite a bit of oily residue around the threads on the prop shaft and the inside wall of the prop. I never had any oil build up in the 10 years I ran amsoil before. I know I'm adding oil to the fuel at 150:1 so its a no brainer im running richer. Just wondering if anyone else is running amsoil hp in their oil tank and also pre mixing with it.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

Personally, I would not recommend either (and Mercury does not recommend Full-Synthetic oils in these products). See the FAQ Section for information on recommended oil, fuel and fuel additives:
