Garmin Ultra 106sv vs 93sv Plus

I've read a couple posts that say the 93sv has a sharper and more vivid image than the Ultra 106. I'm thinking of upgrading to the Ultra unit but now I'm wondering if I should.

...You must have watched that video on Youtube.....just saw that over the weekend....

I have a 126 and 93 Plus that i have swapped around....from the last time i used them a month ago, there was nothing that stood out to me that had me wanting to sell my 126. In fact, if i can, i plan on replacing the 93 this winter with the 106. Just my thoughts.

Yes, must have been the video I saw.

Just now, I noticed Garmin is saying this year's Ultra 106 is new. The only difference I could see is the package now comes with a GT56UHD-TM Transducer.

Searching Google, I couldn't find any info on the GT56UHD except that provided by Garmin. Guessing it's a brand new transducer. Now, my dilemma is, do I get the new one or save money on the old.

Apparently there are some new units that have just been posted to the website as of last night with a new transducer.

I dont think you can go wrong with the 10" unit.....its now up to you.......

I'm going to wait until we find out more about the benefits of the new transducer. Thanks for info.
