    moving to Amsoil

i have i pro sx that i have run for 10 years on mercury oil
That saying my outboard is the only thing i have that i do not run on Amsoil
While picking up oil for my truck at my local dealer i noticed Amsoil 2 stroke interceptor oil for DFI engines
my question does anyone have any experience using this oil ,and what procedure did you used to change over

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info (serial number) when posting. Thanks!

Is that a full-synthetic oil? Mercury does not recommend full-synthetic engine oil in these engines.

I know Mercury may not recommend full synthetic but I have been running Amsoil Saber in my 2000 Optimax since I have owned it, which is 18 years and 10% ethanol fuel besides the normal fuel line issues and maintenance it has been a darn good motor. I have roughly 800 hours on it.
