    new 9 live problem

    I have a new 9 live that wont find my lss2 transducer . it is plugged into channel 2 and it is turned on .everything else works great .

    What do you mean "woun`t find"? You have the transducer in the black port on the HDS, you have turned on channel 2 and use "this unit" as source in the structurescan-window? Which 2D-transducer do you run? (If it is a HDI you need to select HST-WSBL, not HDI, in Pages-Settings-Sonar-Installation on channel 1.)

    What happens when you go to the Structure page? Live units don't have to "find" a Structure transducer. It's all automatic.

    ok it is working good now but the ports are switched . the 2d is on channel 2 or so it says but it is in the inner blue port

    Black, Structure port is Channel 2; Blue, Sonar port is Channel 1. Pretty sure StructureScan won't work if connected to the blue port.

    A 9 pin LSS will connect into either port on a Live. But only Channel 2 will do Sidescan.
