    Question Who makes the best 12 volt Trolling Motor

    Refurbishing my old 16 ft Terry for my son.
    The old 12 V Motor Guide has seen better days.
    Who makes the best TM that is 12 volt?

    Or does anyone have a good TM repair shop for Motor Guide?

    There is a good shop in Springfield, MO. It is called Marine Repair. It is a second generation shop. They sell new and used trolling motors as well as do repairs. Scott and Brad are the guys. The phone # is 417-833-9191.

    Not sure who makes a good new one but I have some old Minnkota 3 and 4HP that still run. They do NOT make 3 or 4HP but they do make 50 pounds of thrust or so.

    Minn kota maxxum 55lbs thrust with variable speed control (i have never been a fan of the 1-5 speed) Only place I have found them is at bass pro shops good luck with your search
