Micro Guides? Braid to Fluro knot?

Just wondering what knot people use for attaching a fluro leader to braid mainline on spinning outfits with small micro guides? 10 or 12lb braid to 8 or 10lb fluro...mostly for shaky head or drop shot fishing. I have tried a uni to uni, but hate the way it bangs the guides and catches some. Thoughts or suggestions? I have been just spooling up with straight fluro at this point.

I learned the hard way and had an eyelet insert get popped out and now it needs to be repaired.

I would stick with straight floro.

I only have one rod with micro guides - that's the only one that gets an FG knot. The rest get the lazy/crazy Alberto.

THis.. FG goes through the guides (and even the reel for long leaders..) very smoothly. There are several method for tying it, you just need to find the one you are comfortable with.

Been using the uni to uni knot with no problems. All knots will make noise on the guides .

U might be in a losing battle with leader going through true micro guides unless you tie a great knot. I stuck with the FG despite all the durability issues because of its potential. So if your having knot issues try a FG and use a rizzuto finish and burn the tag flouro and also tie a hitch in the braid end and then burn it. No trouble since I started tying that little knot in the braid tag and burning both the line ends with the lighter, but I haven't beat them through any microguides yet.
