I notice that on the TPI or throttle position sensor, there're 4 holes, but only 3 screws are used. I see all Optimax are like that. Why aren't 4 screws used, but only 3?

So that the lever can actually move through the necessary stroke range that is generated by the throttle. If a 4th screw was installed, it would impinge on the movement of the lever.
