    Service for a 3.1L 250 hp?

I just purchased a new to me skeeter that has a 3.1L 250hp on the back of it. I am curious as to what would be recommended as a tune up for this motor? Are there fuel filters inside the motor? I plan on doing the lower unit, impeller, spark plugs, water fuel separator filter. Anything other things to do or look for would be awesome. I also considered doing a Yamaha ring free shock treatment before I change the plugs and filters.

    shock treatment
Compression check immediately after it has been run
    spark Plugs
    Vst filter Yamaha brand
    Lower unit gear oil
    Water pump kit
Poppit valve replace and new spring
O2 sensor. Ntk 21006 I think is equivalent to the Yamaha 02 sensor
Also clean the O2 sensor barbell. You can get the GM 02 sensor harness and solder the wires in and make it easy for future swap outs.
On-board water Sep. filter Yamaha brand
    gas Clear bowl paper filter
Fuel\flow test for fuel injectors (unless owner had it done)
Thermostats 2 one each side top of block
Oil injection filter inside bottom on-board tank
If I think of anything else I will let you know. Parts from Andy at Sims Yamaha or boats.net
I have an 04 3.1 Vmax efi just likes yours.
    Seloc repair manual
Let me know if you have any questions.
    Maintenance/replacement of parts is easy.

Couple other things to keep in mind.
    1. add some waterproof grease on the tips of the piston rods for the tilt. Helps to keep it from wearing down the contacts on mount and also lessens noise.
    2. if the trim tilt tube washers every have to be replaced if is not difficult if you have access to a cherry picker to support motor when doing repair.
