    Caymas trailer jack level issue

I have a Dodge Ram truck and I need a 5 1/2” drop for my trailer to ride level. The problem isn’t I feel I use more than a 4 1/2” drop then I don’t have enough clearance to fold up my trailer jack. Can I replace my wheel with a smaller wheel to help? Any other suggestions?

I had that issue on a Ranger Trail. I had to lift the boat up with my back to fold my Jack. I got a smaller wheel at Harbor Freight and it solved the problem. I've replaced that jack now with a Fulton F-2 jack and it retracts more than enough and I don't have to lift the boat now.

Not sure what year ram you have. My dad and i have 2018s and we used to run 6” drop on the old boat but with the new triton it took a 4” to get it level or maybe slightly above. Might try a 4” drop these coil springs will settle some if its a half ton. Better to be a little high in front then too low and may be enough to clear the jack wheel.
