    you can see how the fish returns get longer at that 100 feet as does your lure

    When you calibrate (not mandatory) the unit and livescope the boat icon pops up showing which direction the livescope is pointing.

    TOC do you always run it out that far? mine tend to lose good contact after 50 ft.

    Thats correct. But sometimes mine does not point in the right direction especially if Im in spot lock and the wind is not stiff enough to keep the trolling motor from searching. So most of the time I don't bother to calibrate it and just look at the trolling motor head.

    Very true. That’s why I built a pole mount with a directional pointer. I like manual working parts, more accurate

    I have looked at that setup. I know its expensive and have considered it. My concern is having my boat cover fit. I trailer my boat with the cover. I already had it altered to fit the ultrex. If it could be easily removed and laid in the boat when the day is done I might be more interested.

    Yes you can use thumb screws for quick release

    I know the price has came up but it’s worth more to me as my scope now works like it should and with spot lock the system is complete
