Been a few weeks since I’ve been. It’s down about 2 feet. Fishing was slow. Good luck

Been about 3-3.5 weeks since I went. Very slow day but did manage one over 5 lbs in the morning. Let us know how you do.

Can't forget how awesome this lake was in it's early years. Yes I know it was built for a different reason but it was a killer lake for a short time.

It can still be an awesome lake. I've had 30-50 fish days. Some of the shorelines are getting hay grass. If you like white bass there's a ton of them too. Hopefully things workout with the sale of the plant.

I sure was. We had to put our names on a reservation list the first year it was opened. Caught some amazing amounts of quality bass.

I got to fish three days that first week and caught fish everywhere. Last time I was there some of the better places were silted in so bad I got stuck so bad I had to get out of the boat and push it to where it would float.

Word got around and the lake was decimated by over fishing.

Same as Fayette. Gibbons was hyped up, was suppose to be one of the best bass lakes around. Fishing pressure does not explain that last 10-15 years, cause I don't think it been getting much pressure, maybe I am wrong.
