2003 Triton 03 Evinrude 225 HO no start

Anyone have a wiring scheme basic for no start. Key doesn't start. Doesn't turn over. Lights are on in dash

Make sure your gear shift is in neutral.

Go to the starter solenoid and check the voltage at the yellow with red stripe wire when you turn the key to the start position. A test light is the easiest. Should light up when turned to start.

Spend the 60 to 100 bucks for an Evinrude manual. It will have all the info you seek about necessary voltages and wire colors and some really good troubleshooting ideas. They are worth 5 times that when you are working on an issue.

Solenoid is either bad or there is a blown fuse in pdp they are also known for solder joints going bad and cause issues

Where is best place to buy an Evinrude book? I really have no problems buying a manual, I would even take it in for repair but I do not have anyone around that will even look at it because its a Evinrude.

Fixed it tonight. The starter solenoid was the culprit. 27.00 later were running. Thanks everyone ☺
