Transferring Quickdraw contours to new Lakevu chart.

I posted the following in the Quickdraw sticky but haven't had a response so I'm posting here. Getting ready to update my Lakevu chart and would like to keep my Quickdraw contours.

I have the Echomap 93sv Plus unit and every time I've updated my charts with an SD card, I lose my Quickdraw contours. Based on the above, if I save the old contours on my pc and download the new chart from Garmin to a blank SD card and then insert that card into pc and add the Quickdraw contours to the new card it'll work?

No, I've been using Garmin Express for downloading new charts.

For safe keeping, you really always want to back up your entire QuickDraw folder to a computer or a backup SD card. So yes, copy the entire QD folder to your computer. Then, you can add the QD folder to any desired cards at any time. You just have to maintain the exact folder structure. I don't have access to a card right now to absolutely verify, but I believe it is X:/Garmin/Quickdraw

Todd answered above and maybe he can answer this but maybe is it possibly formatting/deleting files/prior to loading the maps. That is a guess on my end.
