HDS9 Gen 2 GPS Speed Doubling?

Has anyone had any experience with the speed on their GPS "doubling". Essentially if going 35mph the GPS says you're doing 70mph, 45=90, 25=50 etc.

HDS 9 Gen 2 touch, running what I believe to be the latest software, but it's my buddies unit so I don't have it to pull version off of. I am however the one that updates the software for him when available.

    Anyone seen this before?

    Thanks!

Ok, so it's set to MPH running version 6.0 platform 20.1, once in a while it does read correctly, but that is more rare than anything.
