    250 pro xs lower unit

    2011,sn# 1B776546
Looks like I need a new lower unit. [impact damage].
How do I identify what kind of lower unit that I currently have?

Your engine came with a Verado-Style Gearcase (which is still available).

would it be better to replace with same Verado style Gearcase or look for a different one? I have no ideal about what kinds of lower units made that will fit my motor.
I have a 2011 BassCat Puma FTD. My top speeds were 78gps mph to 82 gps mph.

You will like that torquemaster better at those upper speeds.

Durability wise- stick with the Verado-Style Gearcase.

You might realize a SLIGHT improvement with a Gen-1 TM gearcase (it would be the only other option for this engine model).
