    Turnover

I got out on Gregg for 3 hours late yesterday and got one bite on a chatterbait as I was headed in @ dark (dropped him right as I said the word "Skunk-saver!"). I can usually eke out a few, so I figured something was up and returned with the la..laber... labratoy equipment!

Yep - same temp from top to bottom....Took another zero. Lake was like glass, nothing moving whatsoever.

Ya it's happening quick. Fished my local swamp hole tonight for 1.5 hrs. Fished it on tuesday and water felt warm, tonight it felt ice cold and could not get a bite... Guess it is jerkbait season finally...

Ha, no kidding. That explains why today was so friggen slow over there. Went to Gregg for the first time every today and it went okay, got 7 for myself and my friend Kristen got 1. Only marked a couple of fish all day, seems like they were glued to the bottom. Just like every other friggen day so far for the last 4 months, took a little bit of everything to make the day worth it. 3 on a squarebill, 1 on a drop shot, 1 on a jig, and 1 on a tube. My friend got hers on a jig too. Most consistent bite was in 5-8 feet of water, all but two came from there. One was stupid shallow, and one was just a tad deeper in 10 feet.

Good job making the switch - so easy to fish history (even if it's only a few hours old)!
