    Alpha Series Rear Transducer replacement?

    Hi!
I'm trying to replace the transducer on the transom of my Alpha 199... Have to pull it out with fish tape, then feed it back in, but struggling with how to get the big connector on the male end of the transducer through this hole on the way out or the way in with those hydraulic lines in there...

Anyone ever switch transducers on an Alpha series?

Do I really need to disconnect the power pole lines to feed it through?

    Sure looks like it...

The power pole lines was not installed at the time the transducer was, you are most likely will need to remove lines. The hole is probably larger than you need for transducer. If you disconnect lines, tie up the poles so they do not bleed down.

mine the hyrdo lines were put through seperate holes. even then that hole is nearly impossible to get a big humminbird conector through - i've done it twice and had widen the hole a little and also remove all the other cables going through it.
