Anybody know what’s up with Yamaha being so far behind on shipping SHO motors? I have read on hear of people waiting months and my dealer just said maybe three or four months but doesn’t really know. Mercs come in about a month.

IDK maybe covid-19 maybe china who knows it's not like anything else is hard to get right now
Yea I’m going to call tomorrow and see if I can get some info. The dealer said they don’t get told much about when to expect them. Merc is cheaper and about the same when you add in controls but I like the idea of being able to reflash ecu and get more power.
Everything is in same boat, not just Yamaha
it all adds up to price increases.the manufacturers are seeing dollar signs
