"New" all star jerkbait topwater rod.

Popped up on ebay a few weeks ago. All star bcm IM6!! 6 ft med action. Really crappy pics. Took a leap of faith. $75 shipped. Got it yesterday. Near new condition!! Great shape. I used a bcm for many years. 6 ft rod was light and could do many techniques. My friend used one for spooks and rattle traps. When USPS cut my pay I had a big rod selloff. This is gonna work out good for me. 14.5 boat calls for shorter rods.
I got a few old school team daiwas from the 90's to put on it.

I’ve got a BCM-6 I regularly use for square bills and rattletraps.
    Great little rod!

Since I have converted to spinning for my jerkbaits.

However, I plan to get custom build at 6 feet when I get the dough.

My plan about 5 years ago was to buy 5 or 6 lamiglas "honey" glass blanks. Was gonna have somebody build me a bunch of rods cut down to 6 ft. Including a spinning rod.

People seem to forget or just don’t know, that at one time a 6’ rod was a long rod.
We managed to catch quite a few on those short sticks.

Update, just bought another bcm-IM6 and a bch. That will give me 3 to use. I just gott out from the storage bunker my 6ft all star tenn handle spinning rods. All 3 of them still usuable. Got some rethinking to do this winter.

The old zell Rowland TWS is a great rod if you ever come across one reasonable. They bring crazy money on the auction sights.
I have a BCM-6 in my basement rafters that was a nice little stickbait rod back in the day. I'm sure it would still work fine.
