    Axle replacement cost

One of my best friends has a 2007 Basscat Puma FTD.
Apparently, the prior owner hit smelting on the right side hard enough to bend the axle. Tire wear indicates this.

what is the cost of a new front axle for a Puma 2007 trailer?

Parts would best answer this question as we don’t have the price ourselves.

go to your local trailer shop and $save; trailer axles are manufactured by 2-3 companies

last axles I bought to build a trailer were half that

you need to know distance between wms (wheel mount surface)
    spring or torsion
    brakes or not

    pretty simple

If its not bent too badly, it probably can be straightened out. I had a slightly bent axle on a boat trailer ( not a BCB trailer) I took it to a big truck (semi) alignment shop. They were able to fix the axle. Back then I think it cost me $50.

^This^. Shipping an axle that you could get locally, gonna cost you an arm and a leg.....
A reputable trailer shop can help out. They may even suggest billius' idea.
    Good luck!

You can get an axle for $200-$300 and probably get it locally.
