It seems most people are getting 70-74mph depending on prop and set up. Check the Caymas boat owners page on Facebook as that has more people sharing info.

There was a gentleman in Washington that did achieve 80.9 MPH on Monday in a lightly loaded CX20 with some prop work done. See Caymas Freshwater Facebook or Blasé Wolpert for source!

Sorry for not responding more quickly, I’m running the 24 fury and atlas hydraulic. My boat runs better around the 6 or 7 Mark.

Brandon Hunter who works at Hi Tech Outdoors in Benton Ky has had his CX 21 Merc at close 74 with full tank of fuel and a ton of tackle.

Had some prop work done. Cx21 with 2 280+ guys with lots of tackle, 71.7, Think there is maybe 1.mph more to be had. Prop is a Yamaha 24p t2. Ran it with 3 large guys same conditions 69.7. That was max. No more in it.

    All stock props!

Cx21 with Mercury 250 Pro Xs

    Fury 3BL 24P 72-73mph pushing 6k rpms jack plate 5-7 on gauge.
    Fury 4BL 24P 71-72mph 5800rpms jack-plate 5-7 on gauge.
Bravo 1 FS 23.5P 73.7mph 6200rpms jack plate 4-6 on gauge. Bravo felt better all around but needs more pitch.

UPDATE: On CX21 added 2 degree wedges with 24P Fury 74mph @ 6100rpms Jack-Plate 1-3, then swapped to a 25P Fury Shaved by Croxton with 1 Solid Vent Plug holeshot still good 76mph about 6000rpms Jack-Plate 1-3. Tournament Loads. Both CX20 and CX21 will benfit from the wedges and possibly moving motor down 1 hole for more jack-plate play.

Cx20 with Mercury 250 Pro Xs
    Fury 3BL 24P 77mph 6150rpms jack plate 5-6 on gauge
    Fury 3BL 26P 81mph 5900rpms jack plate 4-5 on gauge
Fury 4BL 24P 75.5mph 6000rpms jack plate 2-4 on gauge (Earl Bentz recommended Rev4 XP 23P-24P but haven't ran yet)

Heck, when you hit 70 it's all the same after that! Maybe I'm just getting old. Earl makes awesome boats, the best boat I've ever had was my Stratos 285. I've had Procraft, Ranger, and Skeeter as well, but they did not compare to the old Stratos!

I would think it would be about 6-8 mph faster than a 250, guessing 82 or so.

CX21 is a big boat. I'd expect high 70's with a 300 and TX load.
