Point 1 and NMEA

Have HDS gen 3 units, have them ethernet together and everything transfers great. Adding a point 1 and know it requires NMEA and plan on adding this. Question is if I need to run NMEA to all the units or if I connect just one unit to the NMEA, would ethernet pick up slack and send information to all the units? I am thinking I will need to connect all 3 to NMEA but dont want to have to run multiple lines if I dont have to. Thanks for responses in advance.

Any unit you wish to have access to the Point 1 MUST be connected to NMEA.

thanks bandit, kinda figured but just wanted to double check before I ordered other NMEA stuff
