    487 vs prop

I’m running a 24 trophy on a 03 ox66 200 right now. Boat is a 95 487vs turning that prop 5300 rpm fully loaded with a six inch plate. Prop to pad is 3.5”. Good hole shot but acceleration and bow lift could be better Thinking of trying a new wheel but not sure which one or pitch. Any ideas out there. Thx

I don't know about the ox66, but I have a boat that is similar in size to yours with a 225 Optimax. I am using a 24p Fury 4 and a 25p Tempest Plus is also good for me. I have a 24p Tempest Plus, but it was too small for my boat/engine setup.

I will have to check after work but whatever I have does fine but I'm not big on knowing all the different things about props and speed. I did have to run a 4 blade for awhile when my prop was getting repaired and for sure wanted the 3 blade back. I run 58 or so full load Merc 200 EFI. I will let you know the size but believe it a Tempest
