Hose dia?
Hose going from the bilge pump to the port on the back of the boat anyone know what size it is? I am assuming 1/2" ID
Found a company that makes parts for irrigation systems that makes a back flow preventer just need to know what size to order.
Still having issues with hull filling with water on some trips and bone dry on others only thing I can figure is water is coming in the ports and out the bilge pump.

I've had the same issue with my new 190 this year. Sometimes I would get a gallon or 2 once I pulled the plug and sometimes it wouldn't be much. I thought maybe the bilge port on the transom was the issue as well. The last trip I plugged the top hole but still had at least a gallon of water come out when I pulled the drain plug. The bilge hose is 3/4" ID.

On my 175 the bottom hole is the bilge and the top is the livewell pump out. Think I will steal your idea and plug it off next time I go as a test before I mess with a back flow preventer they were about $3 so either way it won't be a big investment.

I don't know what setup you guys have but mine is a Rule pump, and has a nipple that screws on the pump with the hose barb to attach the hose. I have this in the screw on nipple, fits so the lip tightens and holds it in place, works great....No more backwash in the bilge....And my hose is 5/8 inch...
