93SV+ Software Update

I am having trouble getting SW Update 13.30 to update. Here is what I did:
1. Downloaded 13.30 from the Garmin Website to my Computer
2. Formatted a SD card to FAT32
3. Did a "Send To" my SD Card (F Drive on my Computer) from my Computer
4. Checked file on SD Card to make sure it had the same name and was the same size as the one I Downloaded from Garmin's Website
5. Turned Garmin 93SV+ unit on
6. Inserted the SD into the Garmin Unit
7. The instructions say at that point, the "Software Update" Screen opens up automatically. That did not happen. I think the screen that came up was the correct screen but it did not have the Software Option on it.

What appears on that screen is a Menu that has three options to choose from:

Manage User Data
Copy Built-In Map
Create ActiveCaptain Memory Card

I think there was supposed to be a 4th option that said "Update Software"

Did I do this correctly? I actually did what I described above twice using two different SD just to make sure I did not have a bad SD Card. Got the same results both times.

When you download file to PC, you must double click the file, then follow on screen instructions.....its an executable file.

The file that you downloaded does not go on the card.

What he said - the .exe will install itself on the card - it will ask where to put it, just remember the drive number of the card
