    Removable console or not??

If you were ordering a brand new rig....would you order the 2nd console just incase?

Does it help with resale? And is it really that easy to just throw it in one day because the gf is coming fishing for the day?

If I was ordering a new boat...yeah, I'd order the removeable console. At least it would give you an option. I'd likely leave it in most of the time, but you never know.

I won’t buy a boat without a dual console so I’d get it if ordering. Besides the cost there is no downside in my opinion, if the person doesn’t want it they can just take it out. I thought I’d keep mine out most of the time but never take it out. It definitely helps in the cold weather but I like the looks of a dual console much better also.

Yes, I did. Removeable. Early spring and late fall here. Most of the rest of the time, it will be out for added room.

Dealer told me to get it to save the $200 shipping if bought after. I bought it and thought it would be good for resale.

I did the removable console on my Eyra. Sits in the garage most of the time. Way more room in the boat. I mostly fish alone. Its 10-15 minutes start to finish to install/uninstall. Three removable bolts and some cam locks. I sometimes put it in my truck that way I have it if it starts to rain(when i'm not in AZ it doesn't rain here). There are a handful of people I fish with regularly who prefer it in (father in law, wife) is nice to have the option.

You'll need to get an extra pole for your cover to hold it up where the console goes, if you're getting a cover, and my boat is faster with it out.

But yeah, i'd do the console again. Is a nice option to have and not a ton of money.

I have one on my Caracal. I put it back in yesterday as a matter of fact. I did it by myself and it didn't take long. There is a lot more room when it is out but my wife told me to get it back in there after our last outing.

    YES - YES - YES

I enjoy fishing without the console, my wife enjoys riding with it in.

I normally take it out after our summer camping trips. She won't be back in the boat until June, time to come out.

It is super easy to ad / Remove. No down side. Order removable or a single if you don't want at all.
