Weak stream out of the Tell Tail when hooked to the flush port

I am NOT running the motor on the flush port.
    Motor not running.
I have noticed that the stream out of the Tell Tail has taken longer to start showing water and when it does start flowing, the stream is weaker.
Same water pressure on the hose.

Just a weak stream when flushing through the hose connection.

Are there screens on the 150 Pro XS? If so, were are they located?

    126+ hours on the motor.
Water pump was changed at 60 hours.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you in advance.

If you can get it to pee before you fire up the engine and it pees fine when it's running then don't worry about it.

It is my understanding YOU DON"T RUN engine on flush port ONLY IN WATER OR ON MUFFS!! Flush port is for flushing!

I am NOT running it on the flush port.
    1) Engine is NOT running.
    2) Hooking hose to flush port
    3) Stream is taking longer to appear from the Tell Tail.
    4) Stream is weaker than in the past. (Hose water pressure is the same as before.)

Would guess a thermostat is stuck open if you are sure it is weaker and taking longer.

Without the motor running to open the thermostat the water coming is probably pushing the thermostat so it won't be as strong.

Sticking open thermostat is one possibility. Should be able to confirm that if monitoring engine temp on Smartcraft.

There is one strainer (on the exhaust tube).

I do believe that was spot on! Thank you.

I have been running it in the River and I do accumulate a lot of scum on the exterior of the boat and motor.

Long story short, I ran both laundry detergent, dissolved in a test tank and also Simple Green to clean the Thermostat and Strainer, to "Clean the System".
Tested the system today and everything was back to normal.

I did order a new T-Stat, O-ring and Strainer from EuropeanAM yesterday. As i will install it at 150 hours on the motor along with all the other maintenance stuff. (I do the 100 hour service every 50 hours. Cheap insurance!)

You can also remove and clean that thermostat relatively easily if you suspect there is debris in it (much safer than the caustic-type materials).
