FLW Pro Circuit Championship at Sturgeon Bay

Anyone know what river Matt Stefan was fishing during the Day 1 qualifying round?
There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.

Only river I know of is the Mink River that dumps into Rawleys Bay.

Not 100% sure about Stefan, but I believe John Cox was in the Oconto river (other side of the bay) later in the week. Could be where Stefan was.

Thanks. The west side of the bay was my thought too. The river Matt was fishing had lots of current and was wooded down to the bank. I don't think the Mink has either of those.

I watched a clip on the FLW website before the event. Can’t remember who it was but they were prefishing the Peshtigo river. So I know some guys made the ride across the bay

Nobody made the ride "across" but rather trailered around to them.

They did trailer to the other side. Kind of surprised since I have crossed many times pending wind.

Fewer variables to deal with. A boat is way more likely to break down than a tow vehicle. Wouldn't want to break down a hour before the tournament starts. Plus you can launch as close as possible with this format.

I get the launching as close as possible if the wind is bad. From Egg Harbor to Peshtigo your talking almost 2 hr car ride one way. I can make that boat ride in about 30 minutes. If calm probably 20 minutes. Time is money in tournament. I also feel me driving boat away from all idiots on the road is fewer variables.

I know they could trailer to a different launch but the video I saw the guy put in at Sturgeon Bay.
