    Optimax 175hp 2003 coil pack

    I thought I had a bad coil pack on cylinder #3. I purchased a new one and connected it but I did not mount it to the coil plate. Still no fire. I’m curious if the bolts attaching the coil to the mounting plate provide any kind of grounding and maybe that is why it didn’t work.
