    Water Temperature

Anyone have any current water temperatures? I would like to go out Saturday but if water temp has dropped to far I may have to pass. Have lots of projects but want to get out at least one more time. KDWPT isn't keeping the water temps very current.

Today water was only 55.3 at its warmest in the clouds of mist and rain.

Wilson lake ranged from 46-57 this last weekend. Fishing was on fire.

Critzer fishing was good. Had the lake to ourselves. Several good fish using plastics in the cut close to the ramp.
Hit Pleasanton East as well over the the last couple weeks. Cold and windy both days we went, surprised at the amt of grass but topwater all day caught a ton and had fun.

I haven't been down there since early summer. The bass fishing there has been very tough, the guys in the guard shack are telling me that there was a huge fish kill. I never saw any dead fish floating anywhere, but they were told by the biologist at the plant that the bass just sink to the bottom and die. I don't know how accurate this information is, I'm about ready to give it another shot and see what happens. It's been hard for me to get away from Melvern, this has been a fantastic year there for me.

Thanks Roger, I’ve wanted to try Melvern this year but a bad knee and hip have kept me out of fishing and golf almost all year
