    Replacing seat with center console

    Saw a thread on Basscat forum re warping lid of 1 make of console.

    Can anyone offer up a review of this one:

    I dig it. I’m not sure my cooler would open up completely . Wonder if there are various sizes available Like to see a steeper bevel at the back to accommodate a lid opening.. ..

    I’ve had one like that in my aluminum Triton for 3-4 years and haven’t had any problems with it. It still looks like the day I got it.

    I took my flip up middle seat in my basscat sabre with that console. I am very pleased with it. I’m on my second year with it.

    I have this one and its not waterproof but works fine for me. I dont keep much in it anyway but use the cupholders and the middle for a step.

    I have a factory console between the seats. It has lock mechanism with a shallow top section, and can flip open for deeper bottom section that is glassed with a drain if you wanted an extra cooler. I rarely use it other than throwing the phone and wallet in there. I wish mine were lower for the "step" to the rear. I rarely, have more than 2 people in the boat, but wish I had a third seat with a decent step design instead. Might even be able to get my daughter and wife out more if I had the third seat.
