Sportsman II to Blades & not as happy

Had a pair of 8' Sportsman IIs for 5 years and upgraded to Blades and they definitely don't hold as well in the wind. Granted I've got a high sided tin rig but having the poles down made my rig really able to fish well in the wind. Not so anymore. Tech support had me do a diagnostic & they said all looks good. Poles are mounted to sandwich brackets. Any ideas? Thanks

Never have heard of this blades stronger pump, larger diam spike w plastic overmold with less flex all equates to a better hold. Blades have the best hold in the whole lineup. Possible you need to do a down sensitivity adjustment may be shutting off during deloymnet before they get a firm hold.

have to set them up for the type of bottom you are trying to hold on.

Getting the app for your phone and linking your blades will help immensely!

Check for sludge on the intake valves. Screwed mine up from working properly. Im sure its not an issue if you just changed them out.

Well, Power Poles great customer service finally figured it out for me. After I changed out the valves, they had me run a diagnostic test and it showed that the problem was my battery. Voltage was dropping to 9v as the poles were digging in, shutting down the pumps before they were fully dug in. New battery and problem solved. Those guys at Power Pole are great!

Also need a power switch for the PPs if you don't already. I learned that the hard way.
