    Headed to Table Rock

Grandson has fall break and asked to go to TR. So we are off on Wednesday for 3 days of fishing. Wind switches every day according to forecast. Hot, Cool and then Warmer. That will keep it interesting. Hope to catch a enough to keep him happy

I’ll be there for a week starting Saturday. Out of Holiday Island.

Saw a couple of fishing reports videos that describes the fishing as tough. Scattered fish and lots of shad bait-lots of frequent moving to hit spots. One said the upper lake was fishing better. I will be in Aunts Creek in mid lake.
Wind will be tough, except for Friday. I will pm you guys with any notes of fishing. Good luck to both of you and enjoy your time. Tom

Pete's report on the 8th wasn't too encouraging.

Dadgum it's been tough here, at least for us. Been fishing around Indian Point and James River today to get out of the wind. All in all, bunch of dinks and one good Kentucky that might have hit 2 lbs. So far, caught em on blade baits, ned rig, and senkos.

Caught 2 Thursday before the wind showed up.
    Blanked on Friday.
Threw everything we had to cover the water column 20-1 ft.
Obviously they were deeper or had lockjaw.
We fished upper James Thursday and mid lake Friday.
I am glad my grandson has some stick to it in him.
We faught the wind all the way home this morning. Glad we weren’t on the lake.

Tough for me too. Caught two spotted bass. Tried everything, crank baits to finesse. From Holiday Island to Eagle Rock. The wind was brutal
driving over here yesterday. Maybe this cold front will change things. I still have a few more days.

Not a productive week for fishing. Wind and rain the first part of the week, so stayed holed up in the condo.
Today, took my dear old mother (75 years of age) on a loooooong boat ride up into Missouri and back down into the river below Beaver Lake dam. Was a scenic ride.
Sorry for such a shitty fishin’ report. Didn’t fish much but had a great time.....
