    actually it's a Skatter, talked to a friend that knows the owner, he's had several, he said it's been 145mph, Hull only weighs about 2250lbs

    Acually spelled Skater, based in MI, maybe KVD could get a contract with them!!! and he told me he's suppose to got to the factory and have another one built, he had one with quads on it!

    I can tell you this as a former mercury technician the way the supercharger works on Barados you will probably never see anywhere near 400 hp on that light of a boat they only produce for boost on heavy loaded boats

    I could understand this on a turbo boosted motor with exhaust gas being driven by fuel consumption but not on a mechanical driven blower based on rpm

    Only thing I could imagine would be a variable blow-off valve tied to engine acceleration rate. I can't see what the intention would be, though.

    Power is inevitably related to load in a technical sense, but it's not like a Nitromethane engine, where more load=more power.

    Had a magnuson supercharger on my previous truck, rev in neutral and the boost gauge never got out of vacuum, in gear it would get 6lbs of boost. Never understood it and still really don't.
