    Mercury Demo Props

Do the MERCURY Demo Bravos provide the same performance speed wise as the Bravo 1 or XS, just put a 4 stroke on my XRS and bought a 26 and 28 neither prop will push it past 5750 and about 74 top speed. Everything else is great just no speed

Most guys are having to drop a pitch or two to get the rpms needed, but have you verified that you’re getting 100% full throttle?

98 % and they say to change the hot foot...I have a 27 Hydro and with 11 hrs 2 of us and full of gas it ran 79.8 but still under 5900 figured the 26 would do the trick but no speed or rpm increase going to run the Hydro again Monday to be sure its the prop before changing the hot foot

Did you raise the prop to pad measurement up when you put the bravo on? Most boats loose some speed with a bravo because they are light on pitch try the 28 raise the motor and see what happens. Normally you can run one or two pitches higher with the bravo props.

The even pitch Bravo1 props barely have any cup.... If you need more lift, Get an odd pitch. The old blue Demo bravo's were only offered in even pitch's

Everyone is telling me this 250 doesn't show its best performance potential unless its turning 6100 and so far I'm 300 short even raising the prop up in several increments and different spots I had 5 300 XS motors on it b4 going to the 4 stroke and they did good, other than from year change to year change each performed differently meaning they got slower each year in my opinion also notice my 250 uses more fuel than the 300 motors did

Put a Bravo 1 XS-25 pitch on my 250 4S and Phoenix 20 PHX and am hitting 6150 if that helps.

    I went from a 25p to a 23 pitch and still can’t turn 6000rpm

98% is not going to cut it!

You can mod your hot foot to get 100% and it needs to be 100% before you go chasing props and set up stuff!
