Got the 1880 with G2. love the boat and it runs out good. if was going to do over again would look harder at a 2080 over the 1980.

Go biggest you can afford. I do not regret my 1980 however wish I would have just jumped into the 2080 as I could have.

If I had the room and a bigger tow vehicle I would've gotten the 1980, but I have no regrets with my 1880. I have the 135HO on it and it's a beast.

I smile every time I’m on the water in my 1880. If you’re running big water it’s best to go bigger. I personally needed my boat to fit in my garage and the 1880 JUST fit.

Well I ran up on a 2080, 200 Merc with only 28 hrs. More boat than I needed but it was pretty much loaded, clean as a pin so I’ve bought it,
Thanks to all who responded giving me there thoughts and opinions!
