    You didn't. Sierra is one I know of also. I just threw out there CDI as an example. I'm just wondering if the CDI stator would work at all with the OMC power pack.

    Not a fan of CDI junk but if you have to,,,mate it with other CDI junk, dont mix and match. JMO

    Not likely his stator is the issue as it would be three cylinders not two and they would all be on the same side since the stator has a charge coil for each side.

    My meter is kinda chinchy, so my HVAC friend is going to check my coils tomorrow.

    Well I didn't see he wanted it. Guess its a good idea to start gathering parts you may need in the future. I inquired about a bigger boat and asked about taking a trade. He said "NO OMC".
