    Another SI/Clearvu

I caught several crappie on this brush...Garmin is improving their SI/DI...waiting for next software update. Until then, this will do.

Which unit are you using? I have a Striker 7sv (non plus) that I am getting ready to install at my console and would be ecstatic with that clarity. Is that the clearvu DI on the bottom?

Echomap Ultra 122sv..Yes, the bottom half of the image is the ClearVu(DI) from 54UHD transducer.

    Don,
Those images look really good to me. I don't know what more you could ask for. Garmin sure has improved both their side and down views!

That thing costs more than my boat! Lol. I have the GT52 transducer that came with mine. Hoping to set it up this upcoming weekend so I can give it a try on the water.

Nice pic as you I have found tons of crappie and brush piles and beds with uhd I don’t see anything wrong with the side scan but as always technology will always advance and some say it will be so clear you can see the species for sure

Being a HB Solix user and looking to come back to garmin for the LS I can say that looks great and any difference between the brands wouldn't be enough to keep me from making the jump

agreed. I have helix units on my boat with dedicated livescope on a 1222. If I could do it over I’d go garmin all around. Supposedly mega imaging is better, but the garmin shots look pretty good. I like the garmin software better as well, humminbird maps take a long time to load when zooming in or out.
