    bore butter and muzzleloaders????

Many years ago I was taught to run a bore butter patch down the barrel after cleaning and after every 4 or 5 shots on the range. I bought a CVA Wolf today. Bore butter isn't mentioned in the cleaning or maintenance instructions. So, use it or not? Is there a difference in accuracy if not used?
    Thanks!

It or something similar keeps fouling soft which can halp keep you shooting if you want to take a lot of shots. A lot of things do just as good such as tallow or crisco but if it is warm out they can make a mess. This is where the modern products come into play.
