Still want the option to take it off the boat? Our mounts all have a built-in quick release system so you don't need to purchase an additional one, but you can still choose to attach another quick release puck to our mount (RTA-17 is 100% compatible and the RTA-54 just requires a BMAP-54 adapter plate from us).

All hardware and brackets are stainless steel and metal plates made out of 6061-T6 aluminum.

Standard lengths are 7" and 9", but custom lengths are available. We sell the HD and UHD models "by the inch". Some people need more retraction to avoid a cleat or other fixture on the boat.

Hi Steve, the customer in the picture you mentioned purchased a SS-9-HD for his 60" shaft trolling motor. The HD series mounts are ok with motors with shaft lengths up to 72", but all 6 bolts must be secured through the deck (the first set of bolts will go in around 3.75" inboard from the rub rail). If you can't get a set of bolts secured that close to the rub rail, the UHD mounts work better because they have an alternative bolt hole pattern that allows you to bolt up to 6.5" inboard from the rub rail.
