So its OK for Denny Hamlin to go below the yellow line and improve his position, but its not OK for Chase Elliott? WTF NASCAR

It appears easier to win a close 500 mile race when you only actually drive 499.8. He may have been forced initially, but he then turned left and cut the corner to shorten the distance.

Yea I would have liked to have seen the 21 win. The 11 did stay down below the double yellow line a while. Like Dale Jr and Dale Jarrett said NASCAR should do away with that double yellow line deal.

Whether you are forced or not, you're not supposed to be able to advance your position.

I had completely forgot the race was in town this weekend. Usually it’s packed out up around I-20 and forget trying to drive up in that area during race weekend. I drove through that section last evening coming back from eating at Top of the River restaurant in Anniston and it was a calm and normal as any Saturday evening.

It’s definitely on life support and I think the people in charge are trying to pull their own plug.

You need to look real good and see that he was forced down.
I'm sure Nascar checked it over and over.

I was flipping somebodies dock that had a radio blaring when they entered the final lap. I proceeded to the next dock and did not hear the end. NASCAR loves a rules controversy, otherwise the races are awfully boring.

Heartbreaking the 21 was penalized. The move he made on the final lap is standard practice to protect a lead. He got hosed because he’s a nobody. Guarantee you Wallace or Johnson would have not been penalized.
