I’m taking 3 girls all under 10 out to fish this week. Always put in at anchor. I figured best way to keep them interested is to fish for perch and catfish. I’ve caught both while bass fishing but never actually targeted them. Anyone have and info on the northeast where to drop the power poles at and let them have a good time? Thx for any help.

Mouth of the Northeast Creek, go up in the creek, points of any of the cuts on the left coming out from Anchor. Look out for birds and stripers everywhere around the flats on the left leading up to the creek.

Use real small hooks, small piece of worms or shrimp and the fish almost hook themselves. We use to fish derbies for kids and this worked well.

Drinks and snacks. Catching fish is a bonus.
