xi3 noise wipes out humminbird DI

I mounted my hbird ducer on the bottom of my xi3. Tried it out today. Result, on DI the screen is just totally bright, other frequencies generic 2D are not so bad but DI just won't work. At first I was thinking it was electrical interference but I know that the PWM of the TM is probably in the 200khz range, so that motor is literally ringing with acoustic 200khz not just electrical pulses. So I am about to conclude its hopeless to put a DI ducer on a Tmotor not to mention the problems caused by the coiled cable.

anyone else have better experience?
