As I pointed out I think either boat would be a great choice. I bettve OP would be happy no matter which he chooses.

I've fished a skeeter, and own a Classic.

I was in the Skeeter with a guide - got spray a lot - and it wasn't that choppy.

The Bass Cat is dry, with a fantastic ride, and it feels like you've hit the afterburners when it lifts on pad. I believe the P2 hull and the Classic hull are kissing cousins.

I can't remember what the skeeter was, but it did have less roll when on the trolling motor. If you fish alone, you won't care!

Those ZX150's are sharp. You got yourself a good rig.

Must say that with my old PII you do have to learn how to set them down so you don't get water on the back deck. No big deal. But you never get water over the front deck.

Seems like when it goes bad with skeeter it goes bad. Probably only hear about the bad ones though.

Add another Helix, Trailer step pole, fiberglass fenders, Ultrex TM, Complete S/S latches ($60.00 a piece) v/s plastic bodied latches. the ability to pick more than 8 color combos....the PII price is right on par with the Skeeter.

    Both are great deals.

It's really amazing how many times you've made similar comments. I can't imagine having it in for a product I don't use

I'm a big 19' owner and fan. I'm a Ranger guy who has owned Skeeter's and loved the layout. Cats are well made boats but storage in my opinion isn't current. If I were pulling the trigger on a new 19' ride I'm absolutely going to put the Phoenix 919 Pro XP into the mix. I just spent a few hours going over this boat at my local dealership and wow !!!

    Best of luck

P2 was probably the best boat I ever had. I have a 21' skeeter now but that P2 was a fun boat.

After watching Ken Smith's videos I'd go BCB just to say I dealt with Rick Pierce. I do really like the looks of the Bugs though.

I do like the the looks of the Zx200. I prefer two separate boxes in the middle of the front deck as opposed to one large lid. I don’t like getting off the front deck to get to tackle I use a lot. I guess the Skeeter remedies that with the day boxes which are really nice. Both the P2 and Zx200 would be sweet boats. Both would be great to run the small rivers and backwaters if the upper Mississippi.
