    Power Poles 8' or 10'

Need some help if I should get 8' power poles or 10' power poles for my P2? I just might have a clearance issue with the 10 footers. Park my boat under my "lean to" off the side of my shed.

If you have a spot lock trolling motor I’d personally go with 8s

I just took 8ft Talons off my PII last Saturday and replaced with 8 foot Blades. So far I love them. The 10 footers look way to tall in my opinion.

I am going 8ft with my shallow water anchors, if I am in more than 6ft of water I am using a trolling motor anchor. Most of my fishing is in 2-4ft of water anyway, even the close rigs are in 5-6ft of water.

I installed 10 Footers 4-5 years ago....I looked at them for two days, and just knowing they were too way too tall for my liking, ripped them off, sent them back to Hydrilla Gear (who was great to work with), and replaced them with 8 Footers.

While there are occasional times that i wish I had 10 Footers, the 8's are generally perfect for the waters I fish.....

I have the 10's and will go with the 8's next time. For me the juice was not worth the squeeze for the additional two feet. They have a bit more flex than the 8's and "slap" while running in rough conditions. I am not a shallow water guy but still think the 8's are a better option. Hope this helps.

This. I put 10's on my Lynx. If I do it again, I'll go with 8's. As a matter of fact, you may see a set of white 10's on here for sale soon!
