getting gas smell out of bilge area

My Stratos was a mess when I bought it.

- removed all batteries and rear bilge floor tray
- inserted plug
- covered the entire bilge with Dawn soap
- filled bilge with water
- hauled boat up/down steep hills to car wash
- pressured sprayed and rinsed

Do it once a year... and leave your bilge door open a crack when not in use.

The real question is how do I get the gas out of the seat In my boat that my fishing partner has been sitting in all day ?

I assume she’s good looking if you’re sniffing the seat after her

When I bought my aluminum boat 9 years ago the seller had it in his sons yard tounge down in the dirt. That allowed the boat to fill with water and eventually the gas tank filled spilling oil and gas in the bilge. I used a gallon of purple power and a pile of scrub pads to clean it out. Put some in a spray bottle and scrubbed till clean. Rinse and repeat.
