    Triton to Phoenix 721??

I just sold my 2005 tr20x and thinking of getting into a 721. My question is for the guys that have made the switch from triton to a 721. Do you find you still have plenty of front deck space? I believe the 721 is like 5 or 6 inches narrow than my old tr20x. I don't like to fish 2 people from front either and i dont have 20 rods on deck at a time either. Thanks guys.

Never had a Triton, but Im 6`1 240 and have plenty of room on the deck, and usually have 6 rods on each side, and the butt seat..

I had a Nitro z19 with a crazy amount of deck space. I now have a 2021 721 and its definitely a lot narrower and I cant fit as many rods on the front but I don't find it an issue. The front deck is longer though going from my z19 so that made up for the width for me personally.

I went from a tr186 to a 721, and it was a huge upgrade. While it was obviously a big change in length, I can tell you that the 721 is a great boat and if you're used to chine walking already in a Triton then it shouldn't take much to get used to the way it drives. The front deck is plenty wide, and the only reason I'd upgrade again is to go to a 21 elite/PHX.

I went from a TR21XD to the 721 and couldnt be happier. Space isnt an issue. We had 4 people fishing over the weekend comfortably. Take the plunge, you wont regret it.

You should be happy. You'll have a big new bassboat to fish out of. Phoenix has a hell of a following and most that buy them love them. Most of the complaints I hear about Phoenix is for the trailers.
